Community Engagement in Hainault / street briefing

Today, PCSO Naz carried out a street briefing and community engagement patrol across New North Road, Hainault Station and Thurlow Gardens.

It was great to speak with local residents and passengers travelling through the station, listen to their views and provide crime prevention advice (CPA).

I also spoke with members of the public about Met Engage, explaining how the platform can help people stay connected with their local policing team and receive information relevant to their community.

Positive face-to-face engagement is an important part of neighbourhood policing. Every conversation is an opportunity to listen, provide support and strengthen trust and confidence between the community and the police.

I genuinely enjoy engaging with members of the public, getting to know the people within the community and making sure they know that their local policing team is here to listen and support them.
